Success bags Man of the Match award on his first PL start
Isaac Success was named the Man of the Match in Watford's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday following his impressive display on an afternoon he was handed his first League start by Mazzarri since arriving from Granada in the summer.
Success who played 89 minutes of the clash gave the Middlesbrough defence a torrid time on the left-wing on Sunday and was deservedly awarded the Man of the Match award.
The Nigerian youth international racked up an impressive stats of one attempt (on target), 15 duels (won 60%), 5 fouls won, 6 times possession gained and 4 dribbles attempted according to Sky Sports Statto.
Success' agility proved a problem for more than just Boro's Antonio Barragan who was perhaps lucky to be on the pitch after making three poor challenges on the Nigerian whose mazy run into the box saw him brought down by Adam Forshaw, but no penalty was given.
The Hornets would have felt aggrieved, had Holebas not stepped in to steal the ball in the opposition third and rifle the the ball into the back of the net, just moments after the penalty claim.
Despite having to play an additional six minutes after the 90, Success and his team-mates refused to crack as they held on to see out the game and return home with maximum points.
