The Real Problem with Manchester United, Not LVG, Not Mourinho

Actually, a lot is wrong. And honestly we've had it coming for years but not at this rate really. Years of under investment finally caught up and when Sir Ferguson decided to leave, we handed the keys to a man that wasn't ready and wasn't backed as he should have. From there it has gone downhill. Still, I know it'll not last.
LVG and Mourinho, 2 absolute top class managers can't be useless.
Same thing I've been on for long, our problem is far fetched, it's more than conceding 4 against Chelsea, losing against fernabache or drawing at OT against a lowly side Burnley, Ferguson was and would be our best Coach for a long time, but during his last few years at the helm he failed to save enough for the rainy day we're in today, I wouldn't want to blame him much though because he got this easy route to winning the league season in, season out. It made him  too reluctant to spend  big and get a real capable team worthy of challenging for the league when he eventually leaves, and the board didn't help matters with how they handled the Moyes's reign. Same reason I never really supported the #MoyesOut banter coz I felt the whole blame wasn't on him.

Manchester United's problem right now is bigger than Mourinho and any coach you might want to call right now. After one season, his head would still be called for, part of the problem we now face is giving whoever is incharge TIME.
Mourinho will and should get a 2nd season regardless of what happens. I wanted Moyes to get a 2nd season, ditto LVG. Mourinho will get it, and this season isn't even close to being over. I do understand the over-reactions though.
The world is changing real fast, even the professional pundits these days label players flop after just one bad half, and it makes me scary, Ferguson in this kind of period wouldn't have enjoyed much success because the media would have helped push him out beforehand, there's still time to salvage a good season, atleast a fair one. Mourinho and his boys will come good.

  1. I beg to disagree, ma'am. No sane player of high repute would wanna play under Moyes. This is simply due to his(Moyes's) pedigree. Even if you drop the whole pounds sterling in UK, the result would still be the same for Moyes.

  2. I totally agree, Mourinho should be given time to Fix Man U. Sacking managers might not help, Also Mourinho should try and be flexible a bit

  3. I also believe the problem with the team is simply psychological. Morale needs to be pepped up astronomically.

  4. United will surely bounce back. They need the right mentality the results will come.

    1. It might be otherwise as well. Example is AC Milan.

    2. Hmm it will be hard. Milan can't acquire good players United can. They just need to sign good ones not only with ability also with determination and fighting spirit

  5. He can be so rigid, depending on some particle players, depending on same formation, he should allow some players to express themselves freely. Look at the case of Hazard, he wanted Hazard to always play 11 and assist in defending, we can see the best of Hazard again, now he's been given a free role

  6. What about Pogba and Martial

  7. Interesting write up this came straight from the heart, but I feel Mourinho is to be blamed so far for the poor run of results at Old trafford, there is lack of intensity and a lot of player are playing out desire and passion.

  8. Something is amiss but we all want to believe he would be given time to sort things out, the Pobga buy has placed a lot of pressure on him,Zlatan is firing blank, let's see what happens against Swansea.

  9. True, Pogba is yet to get settled, but he has to play cos of the outrageous amount they spent on him

  10. I've seen Man United play good football this season. The way they contained City was superb. Almost no threat despite it being 1-0...they looked calm and they concentrated throughout the game. Concentration is key. It's like in combat sports...if u blink after the start bell u done collect 1st....den u start chasing the fight....meanwhile ur opponent can take risks because he has secured some points on the 1st punch or kick. So he will be moving you around and wearing u out if he's experienced. Fighters usually concede that 1st point when they are carried away or distracted by other problems...no allowee, no 1st aid, no coach, old worn out looking kit, family issues (u left ur family with no money and u dey far place)...too much thinking. Jose's guys are not controlling games....they are conceding early...their chin/head always pointing downwards.....the press on them, fans on them, coach on them, fans on coach, press on coach, coach tearing out his own hair....too much pressure...all because Man United believe they must always win - self entitlement and ego, Jose feels he must always win - self entitlement and ego. That time of SAF is not now....u must be ready to drop points and pick urself up.

  11. United will bounce back surely the team with the highest amount of attacking players. But trust issues jose is having leaves a sore taste on the repute of even the willing players
